- The rules of the game of hockey in the League shall be in accordance with the official rules of the S.H.A, G.T.H.L, and the C.H.A. as amended and modified annually.
- Each Coach, Manager and Trainer, as an official of the League, shall be responsible for the proper observance of all playing rules.
- The Coach will be responsible for the conduct of their Manager, Trainer and players prior to, during, and after the game while in the arena.
- No member shall coach or be a member of any other League while they are a member of this League.
- Team officials will conduct themselves in an exemplary manner. Disorderly conduct or behaviour while acting on behalf of the League will be cause for suspension pending a hearing before the Board.
- Any player or member of the League may be suspended for violation of the Constitution and By-laws.
- Any player or member of the League who wilfully plays, or allows a player to play, who is found to be ineligible, shall be suspended from League activities.
- Any member of the Directors may suspend any player or member of the league who violates the rules of the League or for conduct that is not in the best interests of the League.
- Practice ice must be paid by all select teams. Practice ice once issued to you becomes your responsibility.
- All game sheets must be completed and signed ten minutes before game time. Line rotations may be left blank, but must be completed before the drop of the puck. Failure to abide by this rule could result in a delay of game penalty.
- Teams wishing to purchase jackets may purchase League approved jackets only.
- No team may purchase equipment such as hats, hockey bags, sweatshirts or warm up suits without receiving League approval.
- No one may approach the sponsor requesting assistance of any kind without the approval of the League.
- No fund raising activities of any kind will be held without the approval of the League.
- No team official may commit the League to any financial responsibility as a result of team fund raising or any action whatsoever. The League will assume no such financial obligation committed by an individual unless the Board approves such commitment in writing beforehand.
- A team statement of accounts must be submitted to the League upon demand (select teams only).
- Smoking is prohibited in the arena, dressing room and on the player's bench.
- The use of alcoholic beverages or drugs by team officials or players prior to or during a game or official function is prohibited.
- Members of the coaching staff must hold an NCCP coaching certificate.
- Except when permitted by the House League Vice President or the Director on duty, no person may go on the players' bench with the team unless a valid coaching application has been filled out and approved.
- Any player, coach, manager or trainer who is ejected from a game, shall proceed to the dressing room (if a player) or the spectators' area (all others) for the remainder of the game.
- Players, and members who, while under suspension, go near the bench or dressing rooms or cause problems in the areas shall be subject to further suspension.
- Player evaluation sheets must be turned over to the League by March 31st.
